Dave- obviously a smoker is only as good as the people using it - maybe i should have been clearer in what i said - i have never used a Green Egg so i'm not condeming the product i was condeming the food that was put out - it just seems to me whoever was there from the Green Egg company should...
went to memphis in may 2013 and had a great time but one thing really stood out for me - THE GREEN EGG - the GREEN EGG people were there and were giving out samples of their chicken wings - THEY WERE AWFUL - my wife and i took one bite and were running for the nearest trash can to throw them...
wife was supposed to pull out a chuck ROAST for pulled beef but instead pulled out and defrosted 2 chuck STEAKS that were in 1 pkg from the slaughterhouse. - now their defrosted and i have to do something with them - was going to smoke them tomorrow so i need HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! - THE SOONER...
have never brined before so this questiom might be VERY stupid but - after you mix all the ingredients do you heat it up or just use it cold? - thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS
ok so i lost the clip that holds the smoker probe inside smoker - i'm sure i'm not the first [or last] to do this - anybody know something i can buy at the hardware store to replace it? - i don't like it just hanging inside - thanks for the help
couldn't get fresh breast so got frozen - just now got it thawed so reallt don't have time to brine it - can anybody give me a rub and smoking directions?
