Pickled eggs....Great
When I boil eggs I add just a tad baking soda (1tsp) have the eggs at room temp then put in the boiling water for 12-15 mins. Put in cold water right after boil and bring them cold, Tap the big end of the egg with the back of the spoon (pop) and the shells peel right down.
I been pretty busy mixing dough, working on smokehouse and trying to get a couple quail houses built.
I did manage to mix up 5 pounds of Willies for a friend, stuff smoke on Sunday.
Had some time between breads so I got to working on smokehouse.
Door framed and on, 4 hinge cuz the door is heavy. Have to 1x6 the outside corners and make vents in back. Friend said hey your cuts are not straight.
DUH its rural KY.
