Load up the tube i get 5 hours of smoke no worries of fire or reloading!! I guess once i run out i will try chunks.
with this MES 440s smoker i turned the smoker...
If i use the AMNPS tray, just for ribs, what should be a good amount to only burn for 5-6 hours half way? What’s the best to use it if I’m not smoking for all them hours?

I was deciding between these two MES units does the big difference in the heating element watts a big deal? I Do live in Ohio if that has anything to do with maintaining smoker temp with it being cold outside during the winter months..

I see some other brands saying to use wood chips and this brand saying pellets.. can i put this tray box directly on top of the electric heating element ?
