    how do payments work? do you get ad much from a free amazon prime kindle unlimited download as a sale through them? I don't read a ton lately, but I mostly hit the free kindle unlimited books when I do. I've always wondered how much that supports the authors.

    The royalties for ebook downloads and print are pretty straight forward. Kindle unlimited royalties are tied to pages read, and I don't have a strong grasp yet on how those royalties work, but it seemed to be comparable from what I have read. Reviews appear on print, Kindle, and Unlimited pages.
