Do you leave your pellet grill plugged in?

Mine is stored in the garage right next to the overhead door and stays plugged in 100% of the time. When I use it, it is turned 90 degrees and moved maybe 3 ft to be outside the garage. There is a 2 foot extension cord connecting it to the outlet. When I put it away for the winter, it gets...

    Pellets

Your money; your choice. These seven use 70% or more of oak or alder filler - Traeger, Pit Boss, Bear Mountain, Camp Chef, Weber, Green Mountain, Royal Oak. Lumberjack, Cookin Pellets, and BBQer's Delight don't use ANY filler; they are 100% of what ever flavor wood it says on the bag. I can buy...

    Pellets

I have been a Lumber Jack pellet user since I got into pellet grills/smokers about 8 or 9 years ago. I use the Competition blend only. My taste and smell functions stopped working years ago, so it just makes things easier to smoke things just for me. I never smoke meats for others taste...

Is Lone Star worth the wait vs Pitts & Spitts?

Whoa! Bubba! Talk about gettin' after it! There's enough protein on that bad boy to feed me for 2 or 3 month's. 👍

Just ordered a new Lone Star Grillz Pellet Smoker

Sam's Club 'Smokehouse' brand pellets are made by the Lignetics Group who also own Bear Mountain and Lumberjack brands. I've never used the 'Smokehouse' brand. But or members here and on other BBQ sites speak highly of Bear Mountain & Lumberjack. 40lb bag for $15. On the Costco side, their...

Just ordered a new Lone Star Grillz Pellet Smoker

I've been using Lumber Jack Competition Blend (maple, hickory and cherry) for about 5 years now with no complaints. I've been getting them for $10/20lb bag. This is from a local dealer selling out of their home. I also use a pellet tube...

    Cold Weather Pellet Smoking

I'm with ya brother. I store mine in the garage with a dust jacket and use it half out/half in of the garage right at the overhead door opening. Keeps the south/SW winds at bay and the smoke is drafted out the door opening. Did smoked salmon last week to perfection.

Tell me what to buy.... Cabelas

My CC Woodwind has been doing good now for about 5 years with no issues. But then, my neighbors Traeger has also been flawless for about 6 years. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

I hope you have a thick skin. Your comment/opinion is NOT going to be well received on this website. Now, I'm going to grab the popcorn, sit back with Astralogics, and watch the show. 😊

    Disappointed in Camp Chef

I know others on here have had issues with CC, but I have had about 5 issues with mine (wi-fi not being one of them) and their CS has been good so far. I think for the price point of the CC models, they are good choices. But of course there are better quality brands available, but likely at a...

    Disappointed in Camp Chef

Has worked for me since I bought my CC 3 years ago. I don't need no stinkin' wi-fi to smoke meat. :emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing: PS: Meant to be humor! :emoji_wink:
