HI All,
I just took a batch of jerky out of the smoker. It looks and tastes good but I have a few questions.
I used eye of round sliced to about 1/4 inch. I sliced it myself so it wasn't the most consistent thickness.
I also used the Hi-Country seasoning and cure kit and followed the...
I plan to smoke a brisket overnight. I hope for it to be done by 8:00-9:00 in the morning. We won't eat until 7:00 or so that night.
What should I do with the brisket while I am floating in the pool drinking beer all day?
I ordered the Savannah Stoker PID which is not WiFi. I expect to get it this week and will report back after the first smoke. I did not get the CampChef because three components failed on my CampChef smoker so far. I figured if the first one failed after about two years, why buy another one...
My Camp Chef pellet smoker's controller has bee acting up lately. It stops, starts, doesn't feed then shuts down, ....

It tasted good but not as good as the butts I have been smoking.
My pellet smoker starting acting up toward the end so that may have also been as...

What are my options?
Anything different from butt in prep or smoking...
I have mine for over a year now and love it when it works.
After a few months the heating element went bad so I was starting things with a lighter until the replacement part came. It was covered by the warranty but it took a little time to replace it.
This year the shear pin broke on the...
I have used the pellet smoker for a few things already just not a brisket. Smoked brisket in my vertical. Just looking for tips on cooking a brisket with pellets.
