Morning-
I picked up a 3.5 lb boneless NY pork loin roast from the store this morning. Typically the wife will put this in a crockpot with some goodies and after an all day cook we cut the netting and dig in.
I'm wondering if anyone has smoked this before? Can it be as simple as putting some...
Got a 9 lb pork butt the other day; let sit for 2 days in a rub I stole from someone and added some of my own stuff.

10 hrs on 250 degrees on the pit boss and enjoyed the heck out of it!
Anyone have any suggestions on smoking a pork shoulder roast? I've read a couple threads, doesn't seem too difficult. What is a preferred rub to start with? I've done yellow mustard and brown sugar and mustard and honey. Anything else out there?
Thanks everyone! Smoked up some ribs 2 weeks ago, and absolutely loved them. Going to try a pork shoulder roast tomorrow on the pit boss. I've searched the site and have done some good reading, any other advise? What's a good rub for it? With the ribs I did yellow mustard and brown sugar...
Hello from northern Minnesota!
I purchased a pit boss 700fb 2 months ago or so, and enjoy cooking, grilling, smoking on it so far. Anxious to read the forum more and see what kind of new / different ideas are out there.
Thanks
