Congratulations to you and Ann. We have always had multiple dogs and can't imagine being without them. Enjoy while you can. As long I can walk they will be part of our life.
Awesome! Congratulations to you! I myself could use to loose a few pounds but I'm the worst procrastinator. No will power at all unless it involves sausage, bread and wine then I'm there lol. Keep up the momentum going.
Looks great from here! I have tried the wet brine but much prefer the dry also. I think it gives more concentrated flavors but it just could be me. As it happens I have 5 lbs. Of pork hocks in dry brine getting ready to use for terrine in the near future. Your's looks super.
Welcome back! I have always enjoyed your posts and a looking forward to seeing many more. As we all get older we tend to face some challenges. So hang tough and enjoy life. Am happy to see you back here!
Love me some meatloaf and your's looks great. Haven't had any in couple of weeks so it's time to make some. For some strange reason I always do it in the oven. Why? I have 2 smokers sitting idle. Stupid me! Next time its smoker time!
I love food and I love cooking but everytime I see you posts i realize how lacking my skills are. I enjoy your creativity and appreciate your willingness to share. So thank you very much.
Almost anything smoked but sausage the best. Unfortunately (????) Am the only one besides my kids that will partake of my creations. So that means more for me but also limits the size of product I make at a time . A person can eat only so much after all,but i try lol.
Looking forward to seeing your creation! Have not made any in like a year and have been thinking about it a lot lately so am anxious to see how someone else does it. Keep it coming please.
Here like other places ticks come and go. This past summer one of my dogs (English golden) got bit by one. $4000.00 later she is back to her self. Hoping no lasting effects. Have heard from other people some of the other side effects those bugs can produce. Not pleasant at all.
Beautiful! Had 3 labs like her before, most friendly, loving dogs ever. Lots of energy when young. Took like 3 years to calm down, but would not have it any other way. Enjoy .
