I got a few more details from the Mrs :-) @JJ - Yes Steak Diane Sauce (Hot and spicy). They were tender and probably could have cooked longer to be more "fall off the bone" but they were definately tender. The left overs the next day were also yummy!

With the smaller barrel holding up the bigger barrel, what consideration have you made (or do you need to) for it possibly tipping over?
Will you need something to help balance/stablize?
I have 2 45 gal drums sitting around and I'm liking your set-up...
I'm thinking 2-3 inches, this will allow more air to flow up and help your fire significantly.
Although my design is sompletely different, I need/have flame all the time. I have that much distance between charcoal and bottom of fire chamber.
