Jerky question
The cure I use is obviously different than the cure #1 that you get in the US, as the measurement I stated is what is recommended here in Australia. Maybe I should have mentioned that measurements could vary and to follow the directions on the packaging. My apologies- Budgies Jerky

Jerky question
I wouldnt use an oven at all but that is just my opinion. I also use whole muscle meat. Am going to try mincing some beef up soon though and see what that is like. I always use "Cure" unless Im making Biltong. "Cure" usage rates vary, so make sure you follow directions on the packaging, or, do...- Budgies Jerky

Cheers mate.Far from chilly here. Was 105 F here today and was 115 a few days ago. Bit of rain coming through right now though. Quite humid as there is a Cyclone over the west and it is pushing the cloud and rain SE down to where I am in South Australia. Love summer in Straya!!- Budgies Jerky

How are ya mate. Nothing wrong with roo if its cooked right. I prefer mine medium to well done. No blood for me. I also make roo jerky and it is beautiful. I go through Perth every 4 weeks on the way to work. I love it there. Barra is nice too although we dont have them here in South Australia...- Budgies Jerky

How much does Beef Jerky cost per 75 grams in your Town/State/Country?
I'm interested to know how much Beef Jerky (Whole Muscle) costs in your town/Country? I'm in South Australia and it is on average, $5 - $6 for 25 grams. I charge $10 for 75 grams. I have 13 flavours at the moment but am trialing more at home to see what works.- Budgies Jerky
