  1. Does anyone have experience adding a thermometer into a smoker? I have a Little Chief--very minimal smoker.

    I'd love to add a thermometer into it somewhere to get an idea of ambient air temps inside so I can make sure my smoked salmon is getting hot enough & isn't going to kill my friends, and also to keep from having to open the door constantly to make sure my cheese isn't melting.

    Any recommendations on which one to use & where to install it on the smoker to get a good overall reading?
