I have come across some of these barrels and am wanting to do a build with at least 2 of them as a CC and 1 as a FB..
They have lids so I will remove them, turn the barrels horizontal, weld them together, etc etc..
They are 60 gallon barrels.
My only concern thus far is will these be able to hold heat for long cooks...? I will most likely install some steel plate inside along the bottom to help with that however I am trying to rack my brain about any future issues.. I have access to 100's of these
