In the process of trying my first smoke.  I live in shingle Springs California (between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe).  I'm retired from the US Air Force so I have a lot of time to start a hobby.  What better way to use it than smoking meat?  I have a Great outdoors smoky mountain propane smoker.  I've had it a while, just never used it.  Doing some spare ribs today using TulsaJeff's recipe  posted on line.  I have some questions for later but for now, Hello and happy smoking!  Jimbo1

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff in Rule #11.

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
