I had never heard of a Potato Ricer before last week but once I saw one I had to give it a try.

You will never have egg salad a fluffy as this. I used the small insert and once hard boiled and peeled they easily squeeze thru this tool.

So nice.

I always mashed potatoes with a hand masher. They never came out this consistent. I used the large insert for this. Cut the potato in half and place the skin side up. After mashing it thru the skin stays behind and you pick them out.

Look at that.

When my kitchen is overflowing with crap and my wife wants to know why, I'm not gonna say anything. Just gonna have her jump on SMF and browse.
Thankfully I'm out of that boat of having to answer to anyone now on what I buy....But, do I really USE that dining room table that much....Racks for my cooking gadgets would be ok in the formal dining room right?
And that ricer gadget might come in handy!
