Scored a freezer for a Drying/Curing chamber

Hi All;

The neighbors sold everything and moved out. I got this chest freezer to convert into a curing and drying chamber.

I'm thinkin I'm gonna try the light bulb in the paint can for heat first (with a dimmer to tune it).

I am thinking of framing and extension to the top and remounting the cover on it so I can plumb the humidifier from the outside and so I can put a flap covered vent on it without cutting holes. I travel for work and will need to be able to leave it unattended for extended periods while drying.

BTW, It was a hundred bucks and it's only a year old so hopefully it will last a while. I know it came from the big box place and I haven't had much luck with their stuff.

Comments, suggestions, Thanks!

Ralph

Oh man you're one lucky dude! I've been keeping my eye out for one! I posted a thread a while back and Martin posted his set up using that style of fridge. I'd post the link, but I can't from my phone. Search my threads and you should find it.
