Hey folks Please allow me to introduce my self. I hail from Va.,Lived in Fla., Born in Ga. but now reside in the eastern panhandle of WV .
I'll explain that statement ; As I stated I was born in Ga. till 17 . After a trip to Vietnam (US Army) I lived in Fla. a short while.
Moved to Va. for over 20yrs. . After a failed marriage of 25 yrs. I wound up here in WV.
I'm no pro at smoking but not entirely new to the smoke method . I've owned a few barrel smokers in the past & have a small one now. I have C.O.P.D. & the smoke get to me while checking the meat etc. at times. Well my sweet lady thought I'd fair better with an
another type smoker. She ordered me a Masterbuilt elect..smoker (burns wood chips) True I don't get over come with smoke so I guess it was worth what ever she paid for it.
OK I don't care for it :~) It seems to me The chips just smokes & the elect. element does the cooking. Are there others feel this way . I prefer to cook with smoke. That;s what it's all about ...Ain't it?
