Well I finally got to use my new MBE40 a couple of weeks ago. Just got my new computer up & running so I thought I'd post a Qview of the finished product. I did 5 racks of pork ribs. I sort of combined a few different recipes and they came out great. I made a rub and rubbed em up good. I smoked them for 2 hours at about 235f. Put them on foil and added brown sugar, honey, melted butter & tiger sauce. Wrapped them up & smoked for 1 hour. unwrapped them & added Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce to the bone side. Smoked for 15 minutes, added sauce to the meat side and smoked for another 20 minutes. They were fantastic! The main part of the recipe was from Ray "Dr. BBQ" Lampe's book, Slow Fire. The rest came from different posts on this forum. Thanks All!

Congrats on the first of many smokes - good eating

You all are just killing me. Wont be able to do any ribs till Monday. We are going to get some rain at last from issac. Need the rain badly, but couldn't have done so during the week and then left Saturday morning open so I could do my ribs?

I hate your ribs, cause I need a rib fix and I cant do mine yet.

Thanks for the replies. I've already got a couple of fatties done. I put some qview in the fatty section.

Max-Paul...I know how you feel. I had my brand new smoker sitting in my house waiting for the rain to stop. Only took a couple weeks! Worth the wait.
