I bet they were good with all that Cherry on them ; may I ask where you got your rubs and all? I see folks using it and have been on the lookout for some , but nothing yet.

Thanks - no, I haven't been here much lately...

I used to make my own rubs, but now I buy them - These were a blend of Simply Marvelous Cherry as a base, and Simply Marvelous Sweet Seduction.
Thanks... some folks just can't take a hint...

Thanks Dave - It's called Clypso Slaw, and no, the corn isn't roasted, but I think that would me interesting...

Hi Elly, Great ribs. Can almost taste them

. I was also wondering if you had shared the coleslaw recipe with us?
Ingredients
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 can (11 ounces) Mexicorn, drained
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sliced ripe olives
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, corn, onion, cheese and olives. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the remaining ingredients; shake well. Pour over salad and toss to coat.

You are quite welcome. We really like it - a little different from the norm.

Where can I find those rubs?  I would love to try something different with the family,
Only online as far as I know...

The owner - Steph is great - quick turn around, great product. There isn't anything I've tried that I haven't liked, although his Cherry rub is my favorite - I buy it in 5 pound bags. I haven't had his Peppered Cow yet, but I have heard good things about it. You can also buy other rubs from his site - I really like the Plowboys rubs too.

Like I said above - I used to make my own rubs, but like these so much I stopped.
