Here's a very simple Salmon on the grill dish. I soaked the alder plank in water for a couple hours. Meanwhile made a very simple topping of a couple TBL spoons of each chopped sun dried tomato & kalamata olives, some chopped fresh thyme, 1 minced garlic clove and a couple TBL spoons of olive oil. Mix and apply to the salmon. Let it sit.

Once the plank has soaked for a couple hours, you fire up the grill to a high temp of 350ish+ , lay the plank down, close lid and let it cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom side get's a little burnt. Turn the plank over and lay the salmon on the board. Close grill and watch it smoke! Pull the plank when you reach an IT of 140ish.

That's it! Enjoy
