First off....lemme put this out there that I'm in NO WAY affiliated with this "brand" outside of talking to the owners to rant about how much I love it...that being said..

I'm stuck in GA with no love locally for eastern style vinegar based bbq sauce...so my internet search found me this sauce.  I tried it, and it's "Oh my God/dess" good.  So, if you're ever having the "hankering" for this style and like me don't know how to make your own....may want to give this a shot.

The brand is "Delwood's BBQ Sauce" and is only available via mail order or local pickup (really wish he'd get some here...trying to help w/ that...it makes me miss home).

I'm almost out....bah...guess its time to order again lol.

I recommend Scotts bbq sauce to peps who cannot make their own sauce and are out of state.  I know Krogers carries the sauce.

Finally tried Scott's.  It's decent...but not nearly as good as the Delwood's.  Scotts has more of that Western/Lexington NC flair (more tomato) than I like...

In other words, it's Western NC sauce and not Eastern.

I dont know how long you have been around Brookhaven..I lived in Chambodia /Brookhaven for 30 years..

The Brick Pit was a very old family place..until a few years ago..

They sold it to some Asians..they havent changed a  thing as of the last time I was there..

If you want Great BBQ in Atlanta go to Community BBQ on Clairmont near Emory...
