Thanks. How is you smoke flavor?Perhaps I am biased a bit as I own a Camp Chef but mine runs like a champ and has never failed me. The Weber EX4 has had some problems with pellet feeding and grease fires from drippings getting into the fire. My vote is for the Camp Chef.
?Not Gonna lie “ yea it nah” took me awhile to figure out haha
Yea ir nah= yea or nay would be my guess.Still haven't figured it out.![]()
Thanks. However I am looking for a SMOKER. Not a grill that needs a smoke tube for flavor.hmm Weber had a very bad rollout with mass issues and grease fires. I think they claim to be fixed, but my trust in that smoker is toast. I dont have experience with the Camp Chef...BUT for the 1K price tag I would recommend a look at Rec Teq. the RT700 is $200 more and the RT 590 is $100 less. The RT700 warranty is twice as long too at 6 years. Camp Chef is 3.
Darn...thanksYou should buy a stick burner if you like heavy smoke. Pellets are pellets no matter what manufacture you buy!
the Campchef Woodwin wifi 24 and the Weber EX are pellet grill/smokers just like the Rec Teq... I don't use a smoke tube and like the level of smoke favor. while it is less than a stick burner, it is still quite good. Not sure where you picked up that a smoke tube was needed for flavor.Thanks. Thsnks. What grill do you use?Kinda depends on what temps your using. Don't usually have a problem with smoke flavor up to about 250°. Less smoke with temps beyond. I usually toss in a 6" tube of pellets/chips for a couple hrs extra smoke, just our preference.
Maybe take a look at the Camp Chef XXL. It's a vertical smoker, not a combo grill/smoker. I have one (as well as a Camp Chef SmokePro DLX) and I really like it. Huge capacity inside. I actually bought two more racks for it, too. The metal is kinda thin but I have the insulated blanket for when it gets cold. Comes in a WiFi model now, too.You should buy a stick burner if you like heavy smoke. Pellets are pellets no matter what manufacture you buy!
