Wow what a weekend

Friday
I picked up my new GOSM Big Block from BassPro in Cincinnati. It has taken me some time to find someone with one in stock. After reading many of the horror stories of how beat up they were when shipped I just had to find one I could pick up. It was a nice 2-hour drive and well worth it. I am so glad I waited on this model.

Saturday
OK it was our 34th anniversary and we had a great day.
Early in the day I put together the Big Block and we went and stocked up on MEAT for the smoker. It was great but the confusion of what to cook first. Then we got the phone call......daughter #2 just went into labor so off to the hospital we go. It's 3:30 PM now. Things progressed slowly as we watch waiting family after waiting come and go. Then it happened 4 generations of a family show up, I am telling you it was the Griswolds from National Lampoon's "Were going to Have a Baby" movie.

Sunday
Griswolds are still here and there is no rest for the weary. 4:38 AM we are blessed with our second Grandson, Tyler Michael. How sweet it is. No smoking will get in but there will be plenty of time for that. Just woke up from a long 3- hour sleep and it's off back to the hospital.
