CAULFIELD, Mo. - A twister in Missouri killed a 7-year-old girl early Thursday and damaged homes on a day that saw much of the United States dealing with severe weather.
The burst of tornadoes was part of a larger line of thunderstorms and snowstorms that stretched from Minnesota to Louisiana. In Nebraska, strong wind and heavy snow caused whiteout conditions in eastern Nebraska that forced the shutdown of 75 miles of Interstate 80.

Hope all are friends and thier family in the affected areas are safe and sound.

Tonto: Thought abt them this morning while watching the Weather Channel before I went to work. MoDot closed I-29 from the 84 mile marker[Mound City, Mo] to the Iowa line and Iowa had I-29 closed completely through the state. We are having high winds and heavy snow, near 0 visability.
