Which meat thermometer?

Don't know what probes come with the Ivation versions. Both probes with the Maverick have a rubber boot where the wire goes into the probe. That is what has disintegrated over time on the meat probe. 

When I got my 733, I immediately put shrink tube over top of and overlapping the boots,  Best way to keep moisture out.
