Well someone on here text me earlier and brought up chislic, since he had it when we met in Sioux Falls... it's a South Dakota thing. It gave me a craving so Rafter H BBQ Rafter H BBQ thank you...was tasty! Colder than heck out so I cheated and used the broiler... but still tasty!

Perfect! Bite sized venison!

That's the healthiest I ate all day! This was my other meals...

Breakfast was peanuts in the shell, hard boiled, smoked pickled eggs, pickles, and coffee!

Afternoon snack... found goodies in back of fridge, little moonshine and some pickled jalapeños and pickles! Yes, my wife was working and left me unsupervised lol!

Ryan

Brokenhandle Brokenhandle and WHY does she leave you alone? 🤣
It's that work thing! Normally when left unsupervised I end up having bonfires... but with 30 to 40 mph winds, not gonna happen. But I'm ready...

My next fire in waiting! For the record... that pic was taken yesterday... it's what winter in Iowa looks like currently! No snow but talking windchills to - 35 tonight.

With or without moonshine??? The weather is good for a bonfire but the wind is nasty right now.
Not sure about the shine, but is it allowed to have a bonfire without some form of alcohol? Sure it is... but not gonna happen here in these temps!

Man -35 is insane. We may approach that in a couple days here in Ohio. One night the actual temp will be -11F.

-8F here at the moment, will be colder when the sun comes up. Yes, we get to see the sun tomorrow! High will be in single digits. So, no, nothing cooked outside until June at the earliest. Hopefully, I can talk my wife into frying up some back strap from the deer she got back in Nov. Hot cast iron skillet, coated in flour and Tony's fried in hot butter. Best way I've ever had to eat back strap.

Managed to get in that chicken thigh smoke before it gets to crappy.

Thighs have Kinder's Thai BBQ rub smoked in the MES with the last of my LJ cherry/apple pellets(dust). The sides are a sh!t ton of everything we could get rid of!
