About all you can do is cut it down to size and vac smaller pieces. Not much else. If it can't fit and can't be cut down, it pretty much doesn't get vac sealed. What do you do about over sized stuff that doesn't fit int the chamber?
Do you have a link to that? That sounds great, i have never heard doing that before.it can be vac sealed from the outside if it is to big to fit in the chamber, works like a regular vac sealer. many videos on youtube showing how, I also like how you can seal Ziploc bags with them above the zip seal and then once opened use the Ziploc seal as needed.
Thats fast, my Avion vac sealer melt time is 15 seconds alone.I'm running a 20second cyxle
Thats the one I am looking at. Dont know if I need 12" heat bar.We have had our VP230 chamber vac for a bit over 2 months. I know it is over budget, but not by much. Between Christmas cheese and venison, it has close to 300 trouble free seals. You can feed it as fast as you want. It will handle it. It takes up to a 12x15" bag. I'm on the downhill side of life and will probably never see it even broke in. It will be going to my Grandson along with all my other equipment. I'm sure he will be using it for many years. Buy once, cry once.
The 12" bar came in handy doing our cheese. We could do 2 pint bags at a time. 68 8oz. packs of cheese. Two at a time, it went quick.Thats the one I am looking at. Dont know if I need 12" heat bar.
