As we all know, firing up the smoker is about gathering with friends and family. And what smoke would be complete without snacks while we await the main course? We all love ABTs but what do you people throw in the smoker for the kids to snack on?

I'm going to smoke a tri tip today (because it's on sale this week - $2.67/lb) and along with the adult treats I need something to throw on for the little ones.

Thanks!

Little smokie dogs, I dont do these in the smoker, but you can on the grill at about 350 in about 10-15 minutes.

Preheat the grill to 350 ish. I use a cookie sheet that the wife has designated for me to destroy. Put down a peice of foil on the cookie sheet, light spray of non stick spray. Get the Little smokies made of sausage with cheese inside, wrap in cressant roll pieces. Bake on the grill.

Tasty treat for everyone

Depending on age, nuts

Also I got this off the forum, not smoked but...; sorry don't remember who to give credit to.

MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour(that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well . Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!)

Cheetos, pop corn kernals.

Thanks for the great ideas, this could turn into a nice thread for the families. My kids love wings and nuts. I haven't tried the meatballs, sounds like it would be a winner. How about a bag of meatballs from the store thrown into a aluminum pan? Love the plum jelly and chili sauce on em!

I make em' myself, but store bought would work for sure. and i put them right on the racks of the smoker.
