My son, 7, asked me if I could cook him smoked salmon for his birthday?

How can you say no to that? The last time we had it he said it was the best meal he has ever eaten.

Have fun and . . .

Wife and I started early to have the kids eat what we eat. Both love smoked foods, ethnic foods of all types and yes burgers brats and dogs ( to a point with my son)

We just got back a couple,of weeks ago taking the family truckster out west. We stopped at a respected BBQ joint and had brisket. Both of the kids said mine was better in a loud voice that I am sure the workers heard.

Sometimes the little things just make your day

Funny my son reminds me so much of my dad ( who has passed,on) from his mannerisms to his likes, and dislikes.

Life is very rich
