What MES 30 should I get?

Bas Pro has the new MES 30 for $239 they also have a floor model of the 1st gen MES 30. What one should I get? Are the phasing out the 1st GEN? Will parts be hard to come by in 2-3 years?

I bought a new one (controls in the front) in 02/13...lasted a week.  Swapped it out for a gen 1 ... I think model 20070910.  Works perfect.

Wow, you think I should by the floor model first Gen? The salesman said I could get it discounted since its the floor model.

I know the next gen had controller issues...can‘t say if the one you're looking at does or not.

Number one---If they were going to discontinue a model, so far it looks like it should be the new one.

However they're working on fixing it as we speak.

I don't think parts will get any harder to get than they are now.

There is only one AMNPS (Pellet & Dust)-----It is 5" X 8".

The other Amazing smokers are:

various sizes of AMNS (Dust only).

and various sizes of AMNTS (Pellet smoking tube smokers)

Best one for an MES is the 5" X 8" AMNPS.
