What in the smoke this comming weekend?

Just thought I'd start a thread where we could talk about what we have planning for our next smoke.

I have a cook-off challenge against an EggHead, going to do the basics with an all night brisket, wings and pork loin.

It's gonna be a nasty weekend my way. Rain/wind. Still waiting on my first smoke

Won't be doing much smoking this weekend, having construction done to the new leech fields and the septic system and a new drivway put in and then new seeded lawn.

Think I'm gonna try my first brisket.Always wanted to do one, just haven't had the nerve. Well, the time has come...

Gonna Smoke a Butt & a Brisket... maybe some ribs...

might have to do another batch of my korean chicken wings.

Otherwise undecided, maybe some ribs, or other items to practice up, and get my timing down for my first competition next month.

Its gonna be chilly and windy here, so don't know if I'll get to fire up the GOSM, but I think that Greek Fatty, sounds like a tasty idea

No smoking for me this weekend but I will be doing some fishing.

I'm not sure how the weather will be, but am thinking aboiut a butt for the fist smoke on my new toy.

Weekend heck I'm doing a prime rib roast today. This weekend will be the North Florida Gathering so there will be lots of stuff being done. So far the game plan is a crawfish boil on Friday evening. Saturday will see butts, briskets, goat, lamb, chickens, abt's. beans, taters, eggs, and who knows what else in the smokers

I haven't got to smoke but maybe a couple times this year so far

It's just badly windy or raining lately!!!!

But I'm gonna try some chicken breast stuffed with ham & swiss & maybe a fattie ala cowgirl today or tomorrow

Friday night I'm going to Sam's club and picking up a 3-pack of ribs, rubbing them up when I get home, then wrapping them overnight. Saturday I will do my first ever "Birthday Smoke". When done, I'm taking them to work with me (Race track announcing) and enjoying 2 of my favorite things in the same place. My present to myself!!!

Good luck with next month. Get all that practice in. (Not saying you need it, just to hone your already awesome skills.)

Smoke something for good ole moms. She may become your best critic. The way to a mother-in-law's heart is "Butt" kissing. Pull one for her.

Can't wait for it. Should be an experience.

I won't be smoking this weekend. Might grill up a porterhouse though.
