My personal lightening rod is a steering arm that flew off Keith Kauffman's sprint car at Port Royal, PA back in 2004.

The car broke that night and they were loading it in the hauler. The bar fell off as they were pushing it on the trailer. I asked Keith if I could have it. He said no problem. Still love the 410 sprints to this day!

Old fireplace stoker which I still can't figure out how the movers destroyed the stand and tongs....

Had it for 15 years now....

I use one of my Hubby's long un-used screwdrivers!  LOL....really I do!

I use a small re-bar for the smoker it is about 3/8" in diameter and i also have a bigger re-bar that is 1/2 in diameter for my fire pit . both work great and no matter how big or hot the fire it still works great and stays cool  to the touch.
