I recommend you look for group buys on Pelletheads forum. They have a dedicated space for them. I am in a group buy right now in SF bay area for lumberjacks - $13 per 40 pound bag or $6.75 per 20 pound (incl. freight). I have never seen a group buy with  a minimum and they generally allow unlimited mix/match, so you can pick up several varieties/blends to find ones you like. Only downside is that if you are using a tube smoker, twenty pounds lasts a long time.

One other thing to consider - if you get in a group buy, you can often get folks to give you a cup of various flavors they have to try in your tube smoker. Its such a tiny amount (for guys with big pellet smokers) that it is just not a problem.

Don't get me wrong - I love Todd's products and use many of them.  With that being said, there are plenty of 100% flavor wood pellets out there with no fillers.  I currently use Lumberjack 100% hickory and the Lumberjack MHC blend (33% each of maple, hickory and cherry).  As mentioned earlier, I use these in my pellet grill and in my tubes as supplemental smoke.

Lumberjack MHC is all I use. I've converted several of my friends to using them as well
