Well, after all of these years, I finally did it.

What is the consensus on after market floor mat brands?
Weathertech, seems to come up a lot in my searches. I had them two trucks ago in my 1995 2500 extra cab and they were nice. Is weathertech still the go to brand?

I'd like to put something nice in this truck.
I see the weathertech hp mats seem to come up in my searches.

Thank you, I love my new truck.
Dan.
I put WeatherTech in my '16 Challenger about 5 years ago. They were fine at first, but now there's a 3/4" gap on the side. So it's shrinking, or something, I dunno.

Nice rig. I bought a wee little baby Ranger last month after falling in love with F150's back when and owning several since 2012. It will still pull anything I need to pull, more than my last F150 believe it or not. My last F150 was loaded and loaded = heavy. My payload in that F150 was around 1250 lbs. It's almost 1500 in this Ranger. Or might be over 1500, I don't really remember at the moment.

As far as mats, I prefer dealership made. WT are fine, I just prefer the ones Ford makes.

I miss the space in the F150, but not more than I like the dimensions of the Ranger. Though tight, the Ranger fits in the garage!
I'm gonna buy them tomorrow from the dealership, I went by to get them today, not remembering that it is New Yrs day. I like the looks of them a lot more that the W.T. mats, for this truck at least. It's not gonna be used and abused like my 06 HD was. I abused that truck, driving it like a mad man through rice, wheat and corn fields chasing coyotes, and working on duck and goose pit blinds. It will be a few yrs before I do anything like that in this truck, it's way too nice for me, my wife said she wants to drive it sometimes. I squashed that idea right away... and said "nope, this is MY truck" LOL!!! The first time she drove the 06 she creased the whole side of the truck leaving a parking space, her comeback was that it didn't have 12 cameras and a warning system like this one does.
My comeback was "NOPE, not unless I'm bleeding out"!!!🤣🤣🤣

As a retired friend found out the hard way... do not have a dumb moment and accidentally get any def in the fuel tank! He did and proudly tells everyone! Brand new 1 ton diesel on the way to Arizona from Iowa, via Texas... thinks he only got a cup of definitely in before he caught his mistake. Back around covid time, cost over $16,000 for a new engine. Plus over a month wait so he bought a 2nd new truck to pull toy hauler to Arizona and after 1st new truck was fixed drove back to Texas to get his truck and sold the 2nd one. Who knew retirement was so rough?

Holy crap, I'd die!!!

My old boss bought his wife a super expensive Audi a few yrs ago.
I was sitting in his office when she called him and said that she added about 2 gallons of water to the windshield washer reservoir, and it wasn't full.

He calmly asked her to pull the dipstick and check that, she did, and she said yup it's full, just a few inches from the top. I thought he was gonna pass out right then, then he screams do not start that engine, she says I already drove it home. He says from where, she says Danville which is a 15 mile drive. I had ridden to work with him that day, and he says pack up, we are going home. LOL!!!

We get to his house, he grabs the key and turns the ignition on and the dash lights up like a Christmas tree with alerts, he calmly walks into his house and says congratulations honey, we are getting the new engine upgrade that she talked him out of originally. Up until that point I hadn't laughed even though I wanted to, but when he said that to her, I absolutely lost it laughing.

They were loaded, loaded, loaded, so he took it much better than I would've. They got a whole new car, and the first thing he did was disconnect the hood latch cable so she couldn't open the hood. LMFAO!!!

I use Husky liners. They are the original after market. Never been disappointed with their quality
I had Huskies in my last work truck, they were great and took a lot of abuse.
If I don't like the looks of the GM mats, I'll have to decide between the Huskies and the W.T. mats.

Awesome responses guys, I really appreciate the feedback.
