Over the weekend I smoked a boston butt for pulled pork and 2 whole birds and a rack of baby back for the football games on sunday.
tired a new thing with my ribs and loved it. I used a mixture of honey, brown sugar and butter. The boston butt barked up more then normal for some reason but still turned out good. It was my 1st time smoking a whole bird and did brine them but didnt inject them. The skin was good and the dark meat was moist with a good flavor but the breast had the flavor but was a lil dry. we live and learn and I will probably inject next time.
