weber brinkman hybrid has it been done

I just started smoking when I got a brinkman for free after the first smoke I did the norm upgrades but after doing spare ribs. I  was wanting more room and didnt want to do the foil sealing trick anymore then I seen the parts weber sitting there! I tore the legs off sat it on top of the ecb and it sat good.

threw some grape logs i had laying around in it to see how it sealed and it sealed great without any mods and jumped up to 200 degrees and stayed.

with not that many coals.

so i put the brinkman lid back on and it was at 250 and rising  no foil sealer.

so what do you guys think will the ecb work with the extra size of the weber on top?

if so I will cut out the bottom of the weber to get more heat to the top.

It will probably need more fuel but I think it would be worth it
