Is there a Webber kettle section? I could have sworn I’ve seen it but can’t seem to find it. Maybe I’m losing it.

I don't know, but I've been doing a couple charcoal test runs (3 tests, one I had to stop at the start b/c 6 coals took way too long to come up to heat. Tonight was my latest test ) using the snake method and I've found it pretty effective for maintaining a consistent temp around 260 degrees without meat using 4x4 coals and about 1/8th lower vent open and 12 preheated to start the cook. Got to find a good recipe and piece of meat now to test out a pork shoulder smoke now.

Let’s protest till we get a kettle section haha. But I guess there isn’t one. I’m surprised like someone said with all the kettles on here. Charcoal joe that’s good info I’ll have to start trying to figure out what works for me with what temp. Let us know how it goes with a pork shoulder in there

I've said this in other threads: My very first learning of smoking was with a Weber 18, and chicken. I ran out of charcoal and used windfall maple wood which was a campfire unless I controlled the air flow. Then I got nice mellow smoke.
