Has anyone ever tried or heard of drying watermelon rinds and smoking pork with them? I know it sounds crazy. Just wondering.
 
Can't say I've ever heard of drying watermelon rinds. Wonder what flavor profile that would produce. Give it try let us know.

We've pickled them and they are really good.  Never dried them and smoked with them though.

Give it a go and keep us posted :)
