Greetings fellow smokers! It's been another good year for filling the freezer with good ole deer meat. Still got till February 15th to stack up more!. Nothing EVER goes to waste. If I can't eat it, I give it to folks that will. I make sausage and bacon burger out of most of it but always keep the back strap and tenderloins for frying or stew. You may say? Why don't you use hind quarter for the stew. Well, I got plenty and I want the best meat of the deer. Long story short, I would love to hear from you fellow smokers with a line by line recipe for your deer stew. Thanks in advance!
