We just returned after spending a month with our daughter and year old granddaughter. Man, it is hard having them so distant!
In Utrecht, in the neighborhood where they live, is this windmill. Originally from the 1600’s, rebuilt in 1913, and still operational and used to mill grain occasionally.
The best part, is the organic butcher shop on the ground floor! The owner makes and smokes all of his sausages, meats and fish. The owner was super nice and when we revisit, I plan on doing a little shopping!
