Hey Gang,
Just wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow night (Tuesday Jan. 22nd) at 9pm, three Detroit restaurants will be featured in the “United States of Bacon” series on the Destination America cable channel.
As some of you probably already know, the show travels to cities around America in search of restaurants and events that feature bacon in over-the-top, crave-worthy dishes.
In the Detroit episode, host and chef Todd Fisher visits Clarkston’s Union Woodshop barbecue joint, which features an all-pork sandwich; Jacoby’s in Detroit, which serves Beef and Bacon Rouladen, a German dish that combines steak and bacon, and Vinsetta Garage in Berkley, a vintage garage-turned-restaurant whose Macon Bacon sandwich includes four types of bacon.
Some of you may recall I've raved about Union Street in previous threads.
