UDS smoking rack s/s hole punched...???

I have a stainless punched steel sheet that i was thinking of using for a rack. is this suitable....??

I don't know why you couldn't but many volumes could filled with what I don't know...lol

What gauge is it? Most perforated sheet metal that I have seen is not strong enough on its own to use as a rack.

It would make a great heat deflector or a charcoal basket.

It would make a better diffuser than a meat rack.... Too many places smoke would not come in contact with meat... Dave
