Trying a new brine on some deer jerky

It's 630am I've got the smoker doing a warm up smoke with some jack Daniels chips. I found a different brine online and I added some stuff to it to. My first batch I did with it was amazing by far the best I've made. So now I try again
just took it out of the fridge and cracked pepper over it and some roasted garlic and peppers seasoning. I will add more pictures as the day goes on
 
I've only got a small hobby smoker that fills it. So it's a smaller mixture but its simple. The just of it is 4 table spoons of soy sauce 4 table spoons of warchestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper. I added a cpl secrets to it. And found it good just lacking the pepper I cracked over it so this time I covered both sides
