While i LUV smoking on my WSM , i equally like grilling on my Webber Summit 670 !!!!!!    I decided to marinate with a little soy sauce, island teryakki and a little hoisen sauce.....seared first , then cooked indirect till i pulled them off  when temps hit 143....And they were as juicy as they were tender

Your tritip looks great. If you have not smoked a tritip yet you really need to - they are awesome smoked.  
 
hey scarbelley , i have smoked them as well !!!!!   I think next one im going to sear as norm on the gas, the complete cooking on smoker ...And on the next after that , reverse the process....
