Greenville SC
Light trim and salt brined for a few hours. Rinsed and patted dry. Coat a chipotle olive oil with a dusting of garlic, onion powder, and black pepper.

Looks good Jim, but where are you finding tri-tip? It's non-existent in my neck of the woods and prime is even more scarce...
 
Some fine work there Jim, gorgeous plate! I still can't believe what tritip goes for back east, I grind it for burgers and meatloaf. RAY
 
That looks great Jim! I rarely see Tri Tips around here. Maybe I should shop around more.
