Tomorrow (12/16) will start my 2012 holiday smoke-a-thon.

We'll be doing Christmas dinner with my father in law's side of the family tomorrow. My wife's family is huge and we always have to break up Christmas into a three or four day event.

So tomorrow I'll be smoking a whole turkey, after my Thanksgiving smoked turkey was such a hit.

Then on Christmas Eve I'll be smoking spareribs and a boneless shoulder roast. Barbecue for Christmas Eve dinner has become a recent tradition of ours, but this will be the first time I've made it myself instead of getting it from our favorite barbecue restaurant.

Then Christmas morning I'll be smoking a fatty for breakfast and then a spiral sliced ham for dinner.

And while it's up in the air, I might be doing a second whole turkey for when my mother in law's side of the family decides to get together.

Gonna be a smokey holiday season at my house.

Sounds like a great time to me. Good luck.
