We have these big 4 x 4 x 4 foot boxes at work on pallets with lists on the side to send to our guys and gals that got shipped out. We've got 4 of them going to different places. Iraq, Somolia, Djubti, and some place I've never even heard of I think is in Asia somewhere. Our few remaining Seabees ship them out every few months. You can't walk into the Public Works building without passing them. They also have pictures of the guys on the boxes where they got sent. Sometimes they post emails of requests from diferent folks and it feels more personal. Kind of neat. We get alot of requests for hard candy, gum and those ice tea packets that make one glass at a time.

I'm with you girl!


BTW how's the arm?

I got the stitches out yesterday, and now in a week I start PT to get range of motion back, I can not wait for that! Strength is trying to make its way into the arm also. They put those steri-strips on till it heals all the way. Thanks for asking :)

have you heard anything yet? This week coming up will be the time to get things sent my way if we are gonna make it before Christmas. If you do not hear anything from your friend, we can come up with many more guys and gals, so that won't be a problem :)

Everything is all ready for the troops to be mailed out tomorrow. Just wanted to thank everyone again, who gave for their Christmas while in the Middle East. I hope we hear from someone, but there is no guarantee, but we can hope :)

I just got a quick im from Jasen. They got the package(s) and are very happy. He said they're very busy right now but he would get a proper thank you out asap. I only got to chat with him for a couple of minutes. He did tell me to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. I would also like to especially thank Lisa for putting this together. You brightened the day of a lot of worthy people in doing this.
