I'm currently using a chargrill offset. It doesn't work too bad, but I'm thinking ahead about winter, and colder temperatures and wind. I've got a decent sized garage (If I keep it clean). In one corner is the chimney from the old woodburning stove I had (now gone). I'm not going to use the charcoal smoker indoors, but I was wondering about an electric smoker, or even possibly a propane smoker if sealed tight enough, and hook it up to the chimney for exhaust. I'd hesitate on the propane however because of the carbon monoxide issues, although if I did go that route, I'd add a CO detector out there. My garage has enough leaks for make up air anyway.

Anybody done this, and have any suggestions, recomendations, or pictures?

I have a CG pro and I have used it in the winter...takes a little more fuels and babysitting...but it still works.

As far as your garage..I personally would recommend against it. I think the ones you mentioned are for outdoor use only.

I'm sure someone can chime in with a more expert opinion
