A friend of mine will be stopping by this meat market in 8 or 10 days and is making a list for a group buy. I've had some of their flavored bacon, and the list of brats and sausages is larger than any of our local shops. It might be a longshot, but does anyone have any experience with their products? HERE is a link to their meat page, the sausage and bacon is under the Pork tab.

I live about 20 miles up 25 from them! They smoked all our venison sausage when I was growing up. They are world known for their bacon! I'm a big fan of their beef ribs. Jerky and beef sticks rock as well. It's an awesome step back in time.

So far the group list is around 15 pounds of bacon and some various brats and sausages. Do you have any personal favorites?

my favorite is the beef ribs for meat. I do enjoy their pepperjack snack sticks as well. Wife prefers the original meat snacks and jerky. Potato sausage is pretty good too. Hard to nail it down!

Fair enough, thanks for the suggestions.

Oh Man, I have not been to Thielen meats in 20+ years. Before leaving Minnesota, that is where we took our deer for processing and would stop by every time we went "up north" The only time I get it now is when I go back to Minne. I am a fan of their Pepper Bacon, all of their sticks, all of their brats and they have awesome smoked ring baloney. Probably not easy to ship, but they have a marinated pork tenderloin that is great as well.

I am jealous...

My buddy says they now limit shipping to Minnesota only. This is why his trip has has so much potential. Sure, we will split up the price of ice, but there is a discount on the price per pound on bulk orders. I'm secretly hoping they appreciate that this is a group order from 10 or 15 people in Wyoming and knock off another 5%.

I did not know they ever shipped with the exception to restaurants. I get back there once a year and my family still lives there so they pick some up for me before I get to town and I bring some home, but since I fly I can only bring a small amount.
