I have numerous digitals, Inkbird , Lava, and a couple others but I always find myself grabbing the ThermoPop for some reason. The others are all accurate within 2° also.

I got the Mk4 a month and like it very much, it's accurate and fast, like 2 seconds. Prior to that I had a couple of probe thermometers that took 5-7 seconds to get to temp, just too long if you're popping the lid on your offset. I have no experience with the Thermopop. RAY

I have both and I would say to get the MK4. They seem to go on sale pretty often so you should be able to get one for $80. Much more convenient that it turns on when you open it and it's easier to handle due to the size.

I would definitely go with the Mk IV. It is water proof and is customizable - you can lock the auto-rotation of the display and measure to the 10th of a degree if desired. The ThermoPop is splash-proof, but that's it. I've got a collection of various ThermoWorks products and you won't regret going with the Mk IV.
