That was an ad from the local paper. If you haven't seen it before wait till you see the prices.

I found this while packing up the cupboards.

This is the menu front and back. Imagine it being folded in half and the front being the actual size of a full rack of ribs. When the hostess seated you that was placed on your place mat and would be told that was the size of our full rack.



This was the back side.



Once opened up. They were laminated and the prices could be changed at will acording to the market prices of the raw goods.

We also had a chalk board for a daily special. Something that was priced good and made a good profit.

We got a lot of orders for them, real ice cream, Yummo.
 
Very cool Ron! Thanks for sharing that with us. That takes me back to some of the resort joints I was lucky enough to visit once in a great while when I was a kid.
 
Yes we were in a resort town. Some ways nice but hard to keep afloat. Very short seasons.
 
You have lived a charmed life . You have had , what I am wanting . I remember gas going from 35 cents to 65 cents a galllon along that same time in Texas . Resort towns are fickle to begin with .
